Weddings can be a fun experience to plan and yet again, they could be a night mare. There usually many ways to approach this task however, at the end of the day the result is two souls united in one bond. That being said, there are several things to take into consideration in order to have a successful "dreamy" wedding.
1. Make a list of the things you want.
It seems rather obvious however, you can never rely on the brain to memorize all the ideas you want. Writing down a list, means you will remember and commit to actualizing the dreams. There is also power in writing tasks down. You get compelled to commit to your goals. It is important to actually do this together with your partner, so as to build up a dream suitable for both parties. Let's not get started on how bad things could go if this was one sided.
2. Set practical timings
Time is everything. It is important to start such a process early and to be able to set reasonable goals as per the time left. Imagine if you realized you need an orchestra two days before your wedding? How practical could that be? considering orchestra members are usually about 40 people and beyond...
3. Knowing your venue
Know what venue you will use and how it will accommodate your guests. A church, a beachfront, a garden etc. This will help you know exactly how to plan for it and how to execute your wants. If you would require musicians knowing your venue in advance would help get the right kind of sound. Reception venue is also another consideration to have. Taking to account the season of the wedding. It could be a rainy month or a sunny one, That could affect the wedding and so an appropriate choice will have to be made.
4. Photography and Music
The best ones usually book weddings many months in advance, so get on this one early. Get recommendations from friends, then research what kinds of shots you’d like to see — formal portraits and dancing shots or a candid, journalistic format. Always ask to see other wedding albums the pro has done. Arrange to hear musicians perform before you sign them on. Make sure they agree to stick to the playlist you give them. Find out how they will dress and how many breaks they will take. Hiring a deejay is usually less expensive than a live band, but not always.
5. Vendors
From list one, vendors can make or break the wedding. Its important to go through the ideas you need with a vendor, make sure to highlight the necessary nitty gritties well in advance. i.e Food, Tents, Tables,or even hoteliers. Taking into consideration your budgets. if you have any.
6. Finance
No matter how little or much you would like to spend for your wedding, You can still attain a dreamy wedding. However, do not get into debt and do not do this oblivious to your partner. Many marriages break due to finance related disagreements no matter how wealthy they are. Therefore make sure you and your partner are on one page.
